Books, beliefs, talks
My beliefs might change. So might I.
01
Books
Six that shaped how I think.
- The Hero with a Thousand Faces Joseph Campbell The map for my own story.
- The Bhagavad Gita Traditionally attributed to Vyasa Do the work; let go of the fruit.
- Trilogy of Desire Theodore Dreiser Ambition, and what it costs.
- Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand The world runs on the people who build it.
- Zero to One Peter Thiel New beats better.
- Reminiscences of a Stock Operator Edwin Lefèvre Markets move on people, not facts.
02
Beliefs
A mix of beliefs, collected along the way.
-
Building is an art. The best companies come from love and fullness, not from fear or a need to prove.
-
Products are wrappers. What sits underneath is economic activity, incentives and human behavior.
-
Value is moving from seat to outcome. For two decades, software monetized productivity. The next decade monetizes replacement: AI that doesn’t assist work, but does it.
-
Agents are a new generation. They arrive with their own needs, tools and economic freedoms.
-
The point is human agency. Whatever I build should leave people with more of it.
